Volunteers are needed in all areas at Young At Heart Senior Center.
The Young At Heart Senior Center is blessed by having many volunteers of all ages who participate in the Center's programs and activities. However, we never seem to have enough willing hands to do everything that we would like do.
Volunteers at Young At Heart
· Greet visitors
· Help at special events like holiday parties
· Lead support groups
· Provide clerical support
· Serve meals at our senior dining site
Offer companionship to their peers
· Perform landscaping and grounds work
· Offer a wide range of other services based on their individual skills and interests.
Young At Heart encourages the support of working professionals, who advise and support staff in business management, marketing, development and event planning, and participate in boards, committees, and advisory groups.
The Center welcomes groups from corporations, civic groups, and other sources. Advance planning is necessary for us to take full advantage of group volunteers.
